Does what it says. Says what it does.

Been using Safari since 1.0. Never had a need to revert or switch to any other browser. All my banking, news and media sites work as expected. Fast, reliable, perfect for me.

I for one am enjoying the incremental improvements.

is it compatible with absolutely everything on the web? No. But You can't expect it to be compatible with MS proprietary non-standard stuff now can you? There are standards for a reason. But SOME people choose to ignore and bastardize these standards don't they?

Make sure to install correctly and repair permissions afterwards (like you should after EVERY software installation).

For those complaining about 10.2 - hey this was written for a new OS version. If you choose not to upgrade, that's fine, but don't expect free updates forever especially if they are using components specific to that new OS.

And people, stop with the useless trolling. Review safari, don't bash Apple in general and spread FUD.

if you have a problem with Safari 1.2 post it here - otherwise go to ihateapple.com and vent.

Review the app, don't bellyache - diarbyrag

Hey I happen to love my Mac and my windows buddies are sick to death of me going on about it... BUT the Apple incremental upgrades cost 30% more in the uk cos someone at apple cant calculate dollars to Sterling so upgrading every five minutes aint so cheap... And anyway what the HELL are those software update vouchers in the box for when I bought a new G4 powerbook last April ! I thought Loyalty was a two way street. I will update later.. cos I really like OSX but if you just lie on your back for ever and never complain occasionally the big companies TAKE NO NOTICE :-)
