It mucks up long file names on OS X. For example, I am converting AIFFs to MP3. A file named

Five Squeezy Pieces 99-20030902.aiff

comes into mAC3dec as

Five Squeezy Pieces #3C80F.aiff

and the song title tag therefore becomes

Five Squeezy Pieces #3C80F.aiff

and the MP3 becomes

Five Squeezy Pieces #3C80F.mp3
