Used Product For: Less than a month

I tried multiple times to install Nikon Scan 4.0.1, 4.0, 3.1.4 on my new G5 running Panther with no success. My LS 4000ED is seen by the system profiler and luckily runs on VueScan without any trouble. Speaks very well for VueScan. Nikon says some customers are having problems and they are working on it, "in the meantime please continue using VueScan"

4.0.1 does not work with 10.3 - Lee Taylor

I am having exactly the same problem. I am in the UK and I contacted UK tech support. They have one Mac "expert" who basically tests the software on his own Powerbook. He insists there is no problem. What they fail to explain is how they know this when they are not running G5's ?
