like Apple did with the transition from OS 9 to X, starting with a clean slate. Put together a decent and intuitive interface, fix long standing bugs, etc, etc.

There are better, cheaper alternatives to this. Vote with your wallets people! Perhaps that's the only thing that will get Dantz to wake up...loss of market share. Either that, or they'll just focus on the Windows community :-P This feels like a Windows port as it is. I used to use this heavily, but grew sick of it's problems and cr*p interface. It might still be good for tape backups, but for hard drives and CD's it's been surpassed by others.
