Sorry. It really is for a somewhat niche audience. I figured when posting it, that those who didn't understand that stuff, wouldn't need it.

Zope is a web application platform that is typically managed through the web. Sadly, this leads to a UI of text input fields, textareas, and file upload forms. Casey Duncan wrote a product for it called External Editor which attempts to map specific kinds of content with appropriate client-side editors (text editors for text files, HTML editors for templates, image editors for graphics, etc.).

This didn't work so well for us Mac users, so I tried to come up with an analogous client-side mediator. That's what this is all about.
