Crashes PowerMail in Panther

Feedback Type:  Troubleshooting Report

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 6-12 months

cocoAspell caused PowerMail to crash every time a new mail window was created in OS X 10.3.2. Disabling the two services it installs, aspell.service and cocoAspell.service, fixed the problem. It's a shame, as this was a really nice program - hopefully the author will eventually be able to fix the incompatibility and find a place to host the project (maybe sourceforge.net, since it's freeware?).
System Info:OS X 10.3.2, B&W G3, PowerMail 4.1.2

Crashes PowerMail in Panther - Evan Evanson

The crash, by the way, happened with cocoAspell v. 1.3; it's possible v. 1.4 works fine, but there is no way to download it at the current time.

Resolved w/ cocoAspell v. 1.41 - PowerMail, Panther & cocoAspell are all playing nicely together now.
