I just downloaded the update. It sounds like people are ready to lead a revolt against Macsoft. Personally, just about every other game I own on the mac requires the CD in the drive in order to play. It was nice that Halo didn't require it, but now that it does, it is just like every other game on the market.
I beat the game and enjoyed doing it. The multiplayer is really good now too. I'm glad they ported this game to the mac. The alternative would be no Halo at all. Then everyone would be complaining that nobody ported the game and still hate Microsoft.

It isn't that bad... - Eridius
They're reason for requiring a CD is complete bullsh*t. Also, I found that the multiplayer game I play most often is SOF2, and the biggest reason (aside from the fact that it's fun) is that it doesn't require a CD, so I can start it up whenever I feel like without hunting around for the CD. I have some great games that I just don't play as often because they require a CD.Tuesday, January 20 2004 @ 12:23 AM PST
