Cannot seem to find a way to put info into favorites, nor is there available help. Colored text contents of Quit, Away, and Leave in preferences ('Preferenze') revert to black and white text only. A cautionary note - be careful loading up the provided scripts. I found myself connecting to a handful of servers and channels, and being kickbanned quite abruptly, when I thought I was loading a script to edit. I'm not wild about the arrangement of the console window above channel, and found it obtrusive enough that it got hidden quickly.
The upsides far out-weigh the downsides here as the potential becomes real. With the addition of much-needed help/documentation, and a more obvious way to store favorites, this outstrips the competition in terms of Mac-ness.

Upgraded? feels like downgrade.. - kcfern
Upgraded based on the alert that came up when I launched my old Xirc today. It will not open a connection at all now. The warning to modify the file in Preferences does not show up until the readme file appears, and that appears only after the install is complete. Attempting a manual connection presents an Open window, after which the application dies. Choosing new connection causes an immediate crash. An About Xirc causes immediate crash.
