on top of Bochs will only turn the speed from slow to 'glacial', due to the extra layer of emulation needed... although I hardly see the need for Wine since it's an emulation layer for x86 Linux to run Windows apps...
Virtual PC is a few magnitudes better than this application... save yourself the time and effort and buy that instead... you'll only be disappointed if you buy this one expecting anything resembling 'adequate' performance.

I think you're very much mistaken. Wine implements the same calls that Windows does, which means that it's not emulating anything (WINE Is Not an Emulator); it's running applications, just like Windows does. Sometimes Wine is even faster than Windows, sometimes it's slower, but it's not at all what you're calling it.Reply to This
