What's the point of this when we already have Amar Sagoo's great XML Toolkit? What benefits does this one offer?
Point? - Sascha Leib
<sarkasm>What point does it make to use a Macintosh now that there already is WindowsXP?</sarkasm>Amar's Toolkit is very powerful and reliable. No doubt about it. However, for my (own) purposes I found it a bit bloated and implementation a sheer overkill. For example, XMLToolkit consists of no less than 10 classes plus one interface plus one module. RealXML is one class, one interface and one module -- and it's a lot easier to implement.
If you need to decide which xml parser to use in your applications, I reckon you should try both and then decide.
