Well done IDE, I've been looking for something that's simple yet Just Works. This does.
There's only a few interface quirks I've noted for potential improvement at this time.
- What would be useful for coding in general is an option in the Preferences that sets which command the apple-N key combo does: either a new turtle, a new class, or a new blank.
- I don't generally do Turtle work yet (want to finish a different project before I try out the lessons), so it would be advantageous if I could move the divider that separates the System.out and Drawing window areas on the Display tab all the way to the top of the visual space (it stops just short, leaving a gap). Being able to move it all the way to the bottom were I to expect no System.out writing could be similarly useful (ditto).
- A scrollbar appears across the bottom of the Edit window, regardless of whether or not I have code that extends the length of it - shouldn't it appear only when there's actually writing that extends beyond the window?
