Anyone know how I could use this to access Lycos (UK) email with Mail? I've found the httpmail URL to be 'http://weddav.lycos.co.uk/httpmail.asp' - tried putting this in the Advanced bit of the account settings (replacing the default Hotmail address). But I'm not sure what to put in the 'Incoming Mail Server' and 'User Name' boxes now. Tried 'lycos.co.uk' and both username and full email address for username, but they returned the error 'Access Denied'. Also what would I put in for the SMTP server? My own ISPs server? Any help would be greatly appreciated! This plugin has lots of potential - v.glad someone is tackling it! Cheers.

I don't want to answer instead of Daniel, and so I suggest you continue to look here for a possible reply from him. I can, however, tell you that it is more complicated than just changing some addresses. Protocols and codes are so different that it would require a virtual rewrite from scratch - a big task.
FYO there is someone else working in the same area - "Krioni" (Dan Shockley), author of Yahoo Mail Handler.
Also, this question keeps getting asked for Lycos and other sites. If you search back through the posts here I am sure you will find things of relevance.
