I have ScanMaker 5700. ScanWizard 5 V7.01 is the only version works with Panther. Two type of installers you need to download: the ScanWizard itself and Software Support Pack. ScanWizard 5 V7.11 does not work with Panther at all. If you had already installed V7.11, you have to get rid all off it's components first before installing V7.01.

Where can I get hold of version 7.01 - nthe Mictotek site only has 7.11 available.
