I tried using this anemic little app a year ago on a small business site and within a month the SPAMMERS had already started saturating their email boxes. The "code" that Spam(not)Stopper uses is kindergarten and even a lame SPAMMER can decode your addresses out of it!
You'll only fool the truely lazy SPAMMER. Don't waste your time with this.

who cares if the spammer is lazy or not! - Daniel Chow
one less spammer is good... any software that makes it difficult or less convenient for spammers to harvest e-mail addresses it good to me.Thursday, March 11 2004 @ 07:18 PM PST

Looks like SpamStopper has touched a nerve of one of the "SPAMMER" (sic).Beginning last summer, I used SpamStopper on several sites where I could really evaluate, because they had new, previously unused email addresses. There has been zero spam sent to those addresses thus far.
