The original CD that comes with the scanner works with installation on Panther. The downloaded version doesn't. But they both have the same CanoScan ToolBox version (4.1.1.0). The CD version uses "Installer VISE 7.4.1" to install. Where as the downloaded version uses "InstallAnywhere 4.5" to install.
