I've been trying out iSeek and have one quibble - it takes up too much space in the menubar. Yah yah, I know I can resize it and I could even hide the search field if I wanted to. The problem with the first option (resizing the field) is that it still takes up space in my menubar. The problem with the second option (hiding the search field) is that a simple click of the magnifying glass doesn't return me to the last used search source.

What I would really like is to hide the search field and upon clicking the magnifying glass, the search field slides into view and I can then type in my search. An X could be placed on the right side of the search field in place of the site icon. Clicking this X would again close the search field so only the magnifying glass is visible until I click the magnifying glass again where the search field then slides into view.

That would be truly efficient.
