The iTrip and the iTrip Station Finder are a good idea for anyone who lives in the sticks, in a small town, etc. But in a large metro area like Southern California, for instance, it is next to useless. The Apple Store in San Diego sells a lot of them (apparently) and I imagine all of them sit unused in people's glove boxes... Even if the Station Finder finds unused stations, there will be so much static from cross-over (especially from Mexican FM stations) that the iTrip is rendered unusable.

What I really need is a car stereo with a mini or RCA input connector... Then I could forget about an iTrip or cassette adaptor (which are PITAs, although more reliable than the iTrip).
