I'm simply echoing the complaints from those who are continually disappointed to see the 636u, an otherwise great scanner, ignored over and over again when another company has evidently found a way to do it. I realize Epson does not have to support this device, but it didn't have to support the devices it currently works with. 636u support, please, Epson.
