I have been running the demo version of 4.0 for 16 hours and it has only done 11% of my internal drive which has 42.56 GB used. I am backing up to a 200 GB LaCie fiirewire drive. My Mac is a Quicksilver G4 running Panther 10.3.1 and 768 MB SDRAM.
I am NOT compressing but am running an EVOLUTIVE backup as my first backup of this internal drive.
I am a long-time Retrospect user and also own the previous version of Tri-BACKUP, ver 3.
I would appreciate an alternative to Retrospect, (who wouldn't!), but this is too slow.
Has anyone had this problem? Is the Registered version quicker?
Tri-BACKUP
Automatic backup and synchronization utility.
