Version 1.4.1 seems to work OK with Mac OS 10.2.8 and 10.3.1 on my Lombard PowerBook G3. Allows reading from a MSI CD-RW drive in a Sarotech Flex-CD case from the Finder, and writing from Toast Titanium 5.2.1. No noticable differences from 1.4J on my system.
Does not support Disk Burner or iTunes burning (though I have read elsewhere that this drive can be made to work if mounted internally - but that's not much help to me).
Version 1.4.1 is older than VersionTracker reports - the Cypress web site says it was released 2003-09-23.

I need it too! - Randy Kato
I'm also on Panther, but can't get this driver. Or, I can get the file, but I don't know what type of file it's supposed to be. Does anybody know? If I can change the extension from .txt then maybe it will work.Or maybe there's another driver out there that works with Eumax's Metal Gear Box USB 2.0 enclosure?
Help, please...
