What happened to the part on the VT site where you could rate the versiontracker website? Did they take that down? I did a search for versiontracker and this is all that comes up now.
I refuse to use the VT software or pay for the VT site because the VT site has been so consistently slow and buggy for so many years. I don't imagine it gets any better in performance if you pay for it - just more content. Crap, just trying to click if suggestions are helpful or not is an ordeal most of the time. If this is how they run a site, I'm not going to put thier software on my computer. I love VT's content overall but this slow. buggy site all these years is a big... big turnoff.

I subscribed to VersionTracker because of all the hard work they did before there was a pay option. As I subscriber I find the site much more useful, not to mention ad free. I don't know if youhave a .Mac account or not (probably not since you are not willing to pay for VT) but if you do .Mac offers a free VT subscription. The site is completely different for subscribers and the features VT has added over the last year plus has made the subscription worth while. I have done clean installs of my system and then gone to VT and "saw the site the way the other side sees it" and based on that I can agree with your frustration. The New version of this application in conjunction with the website is finally come into its own. If you are not a subscriber then you don't know what you are missing in this fabulous tool. Until this latest version of the desktop software I could not say that with the same feeling.Reply to This
