give it a try if you need it (works fine for me)

my reinstall horror story--

installed yellow dog for a little bit

took it off, reinstalled jaguar (only jaguar)

discovered (after the fact) that my diablo II cd had mac files on it. celebrated, until I realized it only worked for classic. no prob, reinstalled jaguar with 9.2.2 so I can run classic. well there goes x11, and with out that there goes OO.o . well that's no good.

diablo ii patch for mac os x - ephica

you may have needed classic for the diablo ii installer, but updates to make diablo ii run in mac os x natively have been out for a year at least.
