(doing that now.. deleting WMP 9 and traces of old WMP 6/7 before reinstalling WMP 9)

Microsoft's instructions for removing WMP 7 is for Mac OS 9! It mentions the "System folder" (lower-case "f"), Preferences in the System folder, and Extensions in the System folder. I had to do a double-take when I checked that the page was in fact for the Mac OS X version of the software. What the hell, Microsoft?

I know but just remove anything relates to WMP for Mac OS X before installing WMP 9 simple.
