- Fast and stable. A lot of attention seems to have been paid to trying to make the interface as clean and simple as possible (considering the multitude of available commands & features). Feels nice to use. Encryption and password protection available.
- Responsive developers. They are friendly, fix bugs quickly, and listen carefully to suggestions.
- Works however you want it to: if you're an "organizing type", you can take control over every little detail. Efficient outline editing with good keyboard navigation; pinpoint control over styles; mix text, pictures, movies, and links to files on your hard drive; several colours of highlighters; custom stickers; to-do checkboxes with "due today" reminders; priority headings; sorting by multiple criteria; links to other pages; pretty colours, or plain black and white, or both at once if you want; on and on...
If you're... umm... a "*non*-organizing type", like me... :-), then you can just dump all the text, pictures, etc that you come across into NoteBook, and it will magically index everything for you so you can find it later without ever lifting a finger. (Well, OK, you have to lift *one* finger just a little).
- Whatever way you use it, the new version makes it very easy to post your notebook to the web. It just translates itself into HTML, you put it up, and you're done.
Already very nice and very useful: I wonder what they have up their sleeve next?
