Software companies take note: TechSmith has done to SnagIt what everyone else could do: listen to its users. TechSmith aggressively solicited user feedback after v. 6.0 of SnagIt and what it got back was some great ideas. And TechSmith promptly implemented those ideas in this fantastic new realease. They kept the program affordable while also allowing users the option of retaining the "classic" SnagIt interface, a la Windows classic. There are more features here than you'll ever use, but goodness, SnagIt adds up to a wealth of image capture and editing muscle on the desktop.
Buy this program, and you won't be disappointed. And if you are, chances are TechSmith will fix it!

There's little doubt that zridling is associated with TechSmith in some way. His (or her) feedback reads more like an advertisemnet than an opinion from a happy user. Quotes like "TechSmith aggressively solicited user feedback" and "TechSmith promptly implemented those ideas in this fantastic new realease" could only come from a marketing department, and make you wonder how a happy user knows so much about the development of this product. Add to this the fact that zridling trashed a competitor's product in another post on VT and mentioned SnagIt in that post to direct people here. (And no, I won't mention the other product. I don't want to be accused of working for them.) I won't give this software a rating because I am unwilling to try it based on this unethical behavior. I'm heading over to the competitor's site to download their product.Reply to This
