Still haven't updatet to OSX 10.3 because I need my mac for work and don't want to switch between Panther and Jaguar while working. I expected an update for firewire issues and filevault problems. These problems really are nasty. I don't know if Apple thinks that a potential vulnerability in the terminal is as bad as losing your data. I just wan't to make a clean install (which almost takes a day with all apllications and settings and backups) and be able to work without fear of screwing up data.
