I keep getting a message stating that the Inbox.mbox is locked by myself on my machine. I'm not sure if this is because I named my 1.30 account the same as my old hotmail account but I can't seem to get the message to go away.
I tried to navigate to the file in my Library and unlock and allow read and write to the file and the entire folder but still I seem to get this message all the time.
Anybody know of a way I can fix this? I would guess that I can just rename my account to a different name but there are emails in the Inbox that I would like to hold onto.
Thanks in advance.

Eyedea - no, working with 10.2.8 but the most recent advice I reckon will work for you too (i.e. removing http...hotmail folder and re-importing your old emails). Good luck.Thursday, November 06 2003 @ 06:50 AM PST

Sorry but I can't help but wanted to add my problem to yours! I just tried upgrading to version 1.22 from version 1.20 to solve the multiple recipients issue. I simply replaced the httpmail file with the newer version and got exactly the same problem as you. I reverted to version 1.20 as a temporary solution. Any suggestions anyone?Reply to This
