sorry, IfThen, nice try.

But these isolated hacks often don't work nearly as well as does functionality within an app.

Transparent Dock activates the blob just fine. - if_then_software

So, let me get this straight--the SAME EXACT terminal commands that are issued by TransparentDock & Hackposé are different in what way? That's right. They are the SAME EXACT terminal command that was ORIGINALLY found on Macosxhints.com. So, bottom line as per what you say, is that all software developers should stop developing software IF a feature is found in a completely different application. Sounds a bit monopolistic, if you ask me. What about the 20+ apps that do system maintenance (Xupport, Cocktail, etc.)--should they also cancel their apps because they all can do the same thing? I really don't understand your point of having to download a program that was originally designed to MAKE THE DOCK TRANSPARENT just to activate a feature of Exposé. Sounds a bit like the long way around to me. In case you were unaware, we like "One-Trick" applications--that's what we specialize in. That is what we have always specialized in.
