Assuming that the Wacom people have been listening and finally chose to fix the well-documented problems of version 4.7.7-5, I decided to download and install version 4.7.7-6. However, every few restarts, the new driver fails to load (described at startup as an "internal driver failure"), making it necessary to reinstall the Wacom software in order to use the tablet. There's no improvement here. Don't waste your time.
