DLs missing from iTunes

Feedback Type:  Troubleshooting Report

Contributed by: Syzygy3 Tuesday, October 28 2003 @ 10:43 AM PST

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: One Month

I like everything else about Poisoned v0.493, EXCEPT that I can't listen to any downloaded music!. (If it even IS downloaded -- but I think it has.) It has never worked from the start (v0.491). The DL seems to be going well and as expected from experience with Acquisition (which worked). But at the completion of the DL, iTunes opens and shows the DL title with a "!" by it, meaning the file can't be found. The Poisoned prefs are still in their default state and have completed DL files going to ~\PoisonedDownloads\ and the "in progress" files to ~\PoisonedDownloads\.incoming\. I've played around trying to nab an incoming file while it's still downloading and have had some success. I'm not smart about this but I think there is a problem between the completed DL to the \.incoming\ folder and its conversion to the finished file in the \PoisonedDownloads\ folder.

Can anybody give me advice on what next to try? As I said, I've had this problem with v0.491 and have reinstalled a fresh copy of v0.493 with the same results.

Thanks
System Info:OS 10.2.8 iMac 1GHz

Make sure you set iTunes to "Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library.
