Damages prebindings rather than fixing them

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: One Week

Recommend Product: NO

I tried this and ran the prebinding maintenance. The next thing I know a number of appications (or was it just MS Office ones?) do not recognize their files. The resulting inconvenience is simply not tolerable so I won't be using this any more until there are promises that has been fixed.

Damages prebindings rather than fixing them - tkgallery

Don't blame Xupport. it just sends a terminal command to trigger the built-in Shell Script in Mac OS X to "force re-update prebinding". It sounds like a problem with your computer - I've never had a problem force re-updating prebinding. It's amazing to me how people blame these utilities for just triggering built-in shell scripts in Mac OS X.
