Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: One Week

This app ought to come in handy for me, but it doesn't seem fair for me to review this app since it hasn't *really* worked - it always crashes. Last night, in fact, it somehow made the hard drive in my new 15" PowerBook start cycling as if it was crunching big numbers. I had to force quit it and send the PB to sleep to make it stop. This is under 10.2.7. The author might want to check this problem out.

Please contact us with bugs! - Ben_Haller_985

*Please* contact us with bugs before posting negative reviews, folks. We're more than happy to work with users to resolve issues. Without the user communicating with us, we can't investigate a bug to discover the cause. Given that nobody has reported this problem, I suspect it's a problem with this particular user's machine, and may not actually be related to Jiggler at all; but there's just no way to tell without any co-operation from the user. Sigh.

Bug fixed - Ben_Haller_985

Well, after some head-scratching, I figured out what I presume to be the bug this user encountered. It will only bite users on multiple-monitor systems, which is why nobody had encountered it except this user. It will be fixed in Jiggler 1.1. The point remains that this would have been much easier to debug with help from the user; please contact us with bug reports, folks!
