Cool? Instead of relying on Apple to get it right, we can rely on third party software to tell OUR users they've got it wrong! Can you say "5% market share"?

What do your comments have to do with the effectiveness of QT Detection Pack?

The multimedia web is all about experience, whether it's Flash, QuickTime or Windows Media, end users should not be bombarded by confusing dialogs, or worse; non-functioning multimedia content. QTDP can enhance the user experience by actually guiding/informing the end user who may have no idea what's on their machine.

If you want to b*tch about market share (which is so incredibly subjective) or Apple getting it right, I would suggest you post your comments on the QuickTime support forums (http://discussions.info.apple.com/).
