I am so glad that you are getting a glimpse of what life is like on the Mac side. This is just the beginning. There is so much that I would like to show and tell you. But I cannot do it here.
I am going to give you one example: Many of the iApps seamlessly integrated. Let's take iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie, & iDVD. iMagine being in iPhoto and doing a quick slideshow and your iTunes music database automatically pops up and you can select any song from you database to play the show. Let's say you decide you like it... a couple of clicks and it is exported to an mpeg, or perhaps you would like to put it into a movie. Open iMovie, seamlessly integrate it into a a movie along with the video from your imported or firewire video camera. In iMovie your iTunes and iPhoto libraries automatically show up and you can grab what you want and make a movie out of it. Open iDVD your iMovie movies, iPhoto libraries, iTunes music are all there.
Here is the best part... IT ALL F-ING WORKS!!!!! NO BS!!!!!!!! APPLE BUILDS THE HARDWARE AND THE SOFTWARE SO IT ALL WORKS TOGETHER.
My friends, there has always been a lot of antimacitism out there. And we all must accept that Apple will be out of business by this time in 1987 :-). Here is a test, find the most anti-mac person that you can and ask him/her when the last time they sat down and actually used a Mac was. You won't be surprised by the answer.
Our UNIX operating system is rock solid. I currently have 4 Macs in my house. I have had exactly 0.00 crashes under OS 10(X)
Mac users aren't stupid... we get all the good stuff.
If you near an Apple Store or are going to be in a city with one. Set aside and hour, go in, grab an employee, (they won't try to sell, just show) and let them take you on a little tour. You will leave that store wondering why you were a Windows user this long. http://www.apple.com/retail/
BTW, I have installed iTunes on my daughter's Windows XP machine.
