Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

1. ... be sure, that the installer was quitted.
2. Be also sure, that your installer package is on your desktop.
3. Open a terminal window.
4. Then change your "current directory" to the installer package (yes, it's only a UNIX directory) by typing the following line and then pressing RETURN:

cd ~/Desktop/KeyspanUSAdrvr17.pkg/Contents/Resources/

5. Type

chmod u+x driverLoad KeyspanUSAdrvr17.post_* KeyspanUSAdrvr17.pre_*

and press RETURN.
6. Now leave the terminal window and double-click the installer again.

This works.

It is unfortunate that the Installer doesn't notice the changed permissions until it is restarted. That wastes a lot of people's time to save a little computer time.
