The KJV is the best English translation because it is the most accurate. It is closest to the original languages. Not to mention its English is simply the best. Example: The Psalms, the KJV renders them superbly. More evidence, you know the scrolls in Israel that were found? One is almost the whole (if not the whole)of a book of Old Testament (book of Isaiah I think) in Hebrew. If you translate into English, it is virtually identical to KJV.
On another issue, there seems to be a problem with search results. If I click on one of the results of a search to read the whole verse I see a weird "Au" in front of and at end of verse. Author says it is bug to be fixed in next version.

Except that it's not the most accurate :-) Perhaps the best example is found in the 23rd Psalm. The KJV: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death..."
REB: "Even were I to walk through a valley of deepest darkness..."
The KJV sounds all mysterious and portentious, but it's not a correct translation of the Hebrew. Unfortunate, but true. The Revised English Bible and the Revised Standard Version are much more true to the sense of the original.
