OK, I don't know too much about Java, BUT, I know this is SUPPOSED to be a 43k download that will work with MRJ, which I have. What is not mentioned, is when I launched the program, I got this message:"The Swing GUI components must be installed in order for IP Monitor to properly operate. Swing 1.1.1 can be downloaded from:
http://java.sun.com/products/jfc/download.html
The "swingall.jar" file must be placed in the "MRJ Classes" folder located within the "MRJ Libraries" folder inside your System's "Extensions" folder."
By the time you find it at that site (it takes a number of pages to get to it) be aware, BEFORE you download, it is almost 11 MB.
This is ridiculous......

Blame Apple... - MikeyK
Hi Alexander,That IS the link I finally found. It's 11 MB. I was just looking for a SMALL IP app (I already have eight lager ones).
Thanks for the tip, but with my 56k modem it's not worth my time, just so I can TRY IP Monitor for Java.
Did you try it? Is it any better than, say, Copy My IP 1.0, which instantly copies your IP address to clipboard, is free, and was a 7k download?
The VersionTracker link for that is dead, but I'll mail it to you, if you want it. I'm using OS 9.1, so I don't know if it works with OS X.

Blame Apple... - Alexander Traud
The Swing classes are useful for many things within Jave when it comes to user interface. You could have even better Internet Java Applet experience. Apple should have included these within MRJ but this author here can't for copyright issues; and other Java JDK version have Swing built-in. Swing is essential in my opinion although Mac OS MRJ is a real pain because it is so outdated (JDK 1.1.8) which lacks a lot. But this is Apples fault. But there is a much better doanlod link, which the author should use:
