Product Platform: MacOS,MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Recommend Product: YES

as it doesn't search inside app name and results are not accurate. I have made several tests for a single word and some programs are not listed despite they contain the word inside their name or description when other does. Results seem random and difficult to know why some are listed and why others are not...I am using the search feature included in the main page. I find it unusable and inaccurate.

Searching doesn't work as it should -

Can you provide us an example of this? If you're talking finding a word within another word (ex. finding "photoshop" when searching for "shop"), it was a conscience choice on our part. The inclusion of the boolean search features required us to let go of the subword searching ability of the current search. But, there was significant evidence that the subword search generated more "noise" in the search results than it provided value. We're interested in your examples to see if this evidence may, indeed, be wrong.

I agree 100%; and often have to waste time searching for an item which I know is present; and which eventually shows up after several searches. I cannot understand why a simple search is so difficult.
