I think that the programmer is just showing off. This is down as freeware, yet to play difficult levels you have to enter a code?

Instructions are useless if you don't read them.

Here's a note from the developer (it's in the READ ME file):

"To unlock the software, you must send me an email and I will send you an activation key for free. This game is absolutely free so don't be afraid to send me an email for an activation key to unlock the difficult levels."
