Why not use what Apple already has installed. The only thing they are missing is a browser. Here is that missing piece. I have this in use at many sites and wow what a difference.

Two words: Active Directory. What Apple ships has to be tweaked all to hell to do even marginal AD authentication. I've got it working in one of the school districts I work with and it's an IMMENSE pain in the *** to add/remove staff and students as necessary. However, the principal wanted to be able to use the Xserve to authenticate Windows users, not understanding that "cross-platform" doesn't mean that an Xserve can do absolutely every last thing a Windows Server can do, and so I made it work.Hope this is included in OSXS 10.3!
