After the last update I couldn't open Books...just got a bouncing icon in the dock that disappeared after a few bounces. I trashed the app and what I could find in my user library prefs, and reinstalled it. Still no go, so I thought I would wait for a new update. Just tried to run this one (1.1) and it still won't run. Where did I go wrong and how I can I fix it? I loved the first version and really want to get this to work. Thanks. (PS..anyone inclined to tell me to try Library instead...don't bother. I want Books)

Thanks - I see on his webpage that is what I should have done. I figure I probably screwed something up and cannot remember exactly what I did and the crash log is all alien to me!Sunday, September 21 2003 @ 08:45 AM PDT

OK....I find that I can run the beta, but if I try to upgrade, it won't run. I followed the instructions in the read me file for upgrading, and still no joy. Where are I going wrong here?Reply to This
