Would somebody please provide guidance on how to successfully download the application? My broadband connection pulls it down relatively quickly, but the StuffIt file has been corrupt 5 out of 5 times.

Anybody have a suggestion for me? Thanks!

DonSL777, I would try XPlaneUpdate (www.XPlaneUpdate.com). It sort of like Software Update for the Mac. Great for dial-up users. Since you have Braodband and are having problems it might help. It can't hurt to try.

I got a bad download as well using the VersionTracker link. But I went to the XPlane site (laminarresearch.com) and used an alternative link, and it came through fine.

It is also suggested on mailing list that you use the very latest stuffit expander 7. That's 7.03, I think -- it was mentioned specifically that earlier versions sometimes had a problem expanding.
