WAS the best, till Quark came - burt--2008
I agree alap's support was terrific. It is now terrible, since Quark has taken over alap. Today I called with an urgent problem for a big ad agency - Shadowcaster no longer previews! This makes it nearly unusable.I called alap tech support and got a guy's phone machine, (working from home alap told me) and left a message. His outgoing message assured me he would call back.
I called alap and they told me the guy was out of the country and would NOT answer his phone messages. Their only alternative was to have me email tech support at Quark!!
We are looking at other shadow-making software. Can't any rich reader rescue this fine company from the clutches of Quark?
