can't export "Text" numbers. - Mac OS X Fan

If the numbers are entered with spaces or dashes etc within them (eg 1234 56789), then Mesa knows they are text and exports them to CVS as such. But if you have entered them as 'pure' numbers - (eg 123456789) then as far as Mesa is concerned it is a very large number and gets exported in the format you saw. The best workaround might be to just edit the phone numbers and put a single quote ' at the front of each number. This converts them to Text, which means that they will export to CVS fine.

Hope that helps.
