Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: One Day

Recommend Product: YES

I'm impressed with what it does, though in truth, you could get pretty much the same thing by bookmarking your city from the NOAA site. The main advantage: Viewing your most recent temperature in the dock. BUT if it would issue an audible signal whenever NOAA issued a watch or warning (like certain weather radios do) even when your Mac is in sleep mode, THAT would be way cool and easily worth the $10 shareware fee.

Addendum: ReadMe claims "Added Alert sound if Severe weather statements were found," but it didn't seem to work earlier (when there was a regional alert). Also, can't see in Prefs how to activate/modify alerts (designate sound, etc.). Will monitor.
