1.0.2 specifically fixes the Illustrator issues and they can no longer be reproduced on my machine. If you download 1.0.2 make sure it actually installs 1.0.2 instead of some version you have sitting in your trash. You can make sure just by looking at the read me when opening the installer for "1.0.2"

Illustrator - swithrow

I'm running AI 10.0.3, on OS X 10.2.6.

FontCard still behaves just as it did at version 1.0: It works okay until you access the font list in the character palette. Then FontCard loses WYSIWIG at the root level of the main menu bar font list.

I didn't expect FontCard to work with the character palette, it was stated in the readme not to expect it to. And that's okay, but if it kills the main font menu then I can't see getting a lot of use out of it. I imagined using the character palette when I knew what I was looking for, and the main font menu for browsing.

If there's anything you would like me to investigate about my particular setup, just ask.

Illustrator - Lukas Machata

There's still a conflict with Illustrator 10.0.3 (German). Some fonts don't show up in the menu, some will crash Illustrator (they won't if FontCard is disabled globally).
