If you want to check the spelling then you need to control-click (or right-click) on the misspelled word. This will bring up a list of suggestions. This is the same way that the built-in spellchecker for Mac OS X works. I am, however, planning in future versions to automatically show the list of suggestions when you select a misspelled word.

PS I was able to fix the download link for OmniWeb users. If anyone was having download problems before (any releases before 1.0) then they should try again.
