Yeah, it's faster to or record the voice email rather than to physically type an email, but then the recipient is forced to read (rather, listen) to the message at the speed it was recorded at -- unfortunately, people read many, many times faster than they speak, so the bottleneck would just be passed on to another person. Doesn't really speed anything up.
