Does it save the Data fork only? I tried it out with an application (ReaOne Player) but on unzipping (with Stuffit) the expanded app complained about shared file stuff. By the way is Yemuzip meant to unzip files also?

No, YemuZip does not handle resource forks and it does not do unzipping.
