that they are working on Stand Alone updaters (in the FCP forum). So now will all of the hipsters with no internet connections please STOP THE NOISE and let people slightly further along the technological curve report on the actual update?

No problems for me yet--seems to do an update even on 4.0 projects, don't know what is happening there--but seems to work with no immediate glaring bugs (new ones, that is).
